At Kale Pot Cottage, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing self-catering stay – whether you’re here to walk, cycle, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Step outside the front door and you’re straight onto forest tracks and open moorland, perfect for exploring on foot or by bike.

Train lovers are in for a treat too – we’re nestled between Levisham Station and Newtondale Halt on the North York Moors Railway. You can hear the steam trains and see them from the paddock.

Of course, you don’t have to go anywhere to unwind. The patio and barbecue areas are perfect spots to soak up the tranquillity and watch the world (and wildlife) go by.

Inside, the cottage is cosy and well equipped. Downstairs you’ll find a double bedroom with en-suite, plus a twin room with its own wet room (and space for a third bed if needed). Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area is bright and welcoming, with spring water on tap, a log stove for extra cosiness, full central heating, and an HD TV.

There’s no mobile signal here – part of the charm – but free WiFi is available if you’d like to stay connected.

Outside, there’s plenty of fenced parking, an EV charging point, secure cycle storage, and wash-down facilities, along with a sheltered walled patio complete with barbecue for al-fresco evenings.
